Kiwanis Club of Pike County 

Presents  

Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser 

 
The Kiwanis Club of Pike County is sponsoring our annual Golf Tournament
on October 4, 2010. All funds raised from the event will be used to support
and promote youth activities in Pike County. 
 

 When:            Monday, October 4th starting at 12:00PM (noon)
  
 Where:Cedars Golf Course on Hwy 18 west of Zebulon, Georgia 30295

Details:

 Format:Four person Ft. Lauderdale format 
  
 Cost:$260 per team 
  (includes green fees, cart, refreshments, dinner, 

and entry into door prize drawing)
  
 Sponsorships:Available for $100
  
 *** Special:  Team + Sponsorship for $325 ***
 
 Extras:** An additional $25 per player gets you four closest to pins,
  long drive & accuracy drive, a mulligan & a red tee. 
 **  Mulligans are available separately for $5
 **  Baseball Throw – on Hole #1 – each person can pay $5 and

  throw the baseball from the tee box and tee off from the
  final rest place of the furthest ball thrown
  
 Prizes:1st place  --  $600
 2nd place  --  $400
 3rd place  --  $200

Kiwanis Club of Pike County 

Presents  

1st Annual 5K Dash and Dine Fundraiser 

 
The Kiwanis Club of Pike County is sponsoring the first annual 5K run and breakfast
on September 18, 2010. All funds raised from the event will be used to support
and promote youth activities in Pike County. 
 
We will have activities for the entire family, so please come and join us! 

 When:            Saturday, September 18th  
  
 Where:In the Pike County Alternative School (the old Middle School)  
 at the school complex on Hwy 19 south of Zebulon, GA 30295 
  A map showing the location of the old middle school is available by clicking here  
 NOTE: the red star on the map is the location of the old Middle School 
       
Details and schedule:

 Breakfast:Breakfast will be served from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.  
 We are requesting a $5 donation per person  
  
 5K Run:Registration and sign-in for the 5K race will begin at 8:00 a.m.  
 Race will begin at 9:00 a.m. 
 The race entrance fee is $20 
 Everyone who pre-registers will receive a race t-shirt 
 Some t-shirts will be available on race day as well 
 Awards and prizes will be announced after the race

50/50 Drawing: There will have a 50 / 50 drawing 
 Tickets are $5 each

2010 Motorcycle Ride PDF Print E-mail

The Kiwanis Club of Pike's 3rd Annual Motorcycle Ride Fundraiser was held on Saturday, May 22nd.  The ride was a huge success raising $2,500.  Kickstands were up at noon as the ride headed to Warm Springs and ended up at Riverside Inn Bar & Grill just over the Pike County line on Highway 18.  
 
Local businesses donated auction items and $50 sponsorships.

    The Kiwanis Club of Pike County presents check to the Pike County Baseball Association PDF Print E-mail

    The Kiwanis Club of Pike County, and the 2010 Leadership Pike Class, hosted a pancake breakfast fundraiser, which raised $750. The proceeds will benefit the Pike County Baseball Association, to be used to fund two $125 scholarships.  Additionally, the breakfast will benefit the 2010 Leadership Pike Class project, which is a project designed to start a media program at Pike County High School.  The Kiwanis Club of Pike will also benefit from the fundraiser, and will use the money raised to fund their numerous programs, including the Bringing Up Grades program for 3rd grade students at Pike County Elementary.  Thank you to all who participated for supporting these organizations!
     
    The picture below shows Rebekah Betsill presenting a $250 check to representatives of the Pike County Baseball Association. The donation will provide two $125 baseball scholarships.
